Statewide Community Regrant Program
Part of CREATE’s growing legacy has been administering grants through the SCR (Statewide Community Regrant) program since 1986. Funding is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) through the Decentralization Program and with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul and New York Legislature.
COLUMBIA COUNTY
Catalyst Grant
The Council annually administers the Creative Catalyst Grant program for emerging artists in Columbia County. The initiative, sponsored by the Columbia County government, awards 9 individual artists chosen by lottery the opportunity to receive $1,000 each to create an experience for new work to be shared with the community.
GREENE COUNTY
Cultural Fund
The purpose of this program is to provide general operating or programmatic support to Greene County based nonprofit organizations that offer enriching arts and cultural services and programs of benefit to the residents of Greene County. This funding is intended to promote the development, growth, and viability of major cultural organizations.
