Workshop: Introduction to Stop Motion Animation

In this engaging workshop, kids and their families learn through hands-on creation, demonstrations, and behind-the-scenes footage, how the same methods that studios employ on large-scale films can be used to create stop motion animations at home. This is a one-of-a-kind workshop with artist/educator, Andy Gaukel, whose work has been presented throughout Germany, France, Montreal, and the US.  He’s been proudly awarded two Jim Henson Foundation grants, among many others. This is a workshop presented by an artist/educator rarely, if ever, offered in Schoharie County.
