The Moral Panic Variety Hour desperately presents:

An Electronic Requiem, or “Where do iPhones go when they die?”

Where do our electronics go when they die, all those pesky computers, microwaves, Androids, Nintendo Switches, and other paranormalphernalia that no longer light up our lives with their plaintive beeping? The little bastards exert such a hold on us, yet are so disposable—what actually makes them tick, and what do we do when the thrill is gone?

On March 13th at 8 p.m., gather at the Avalon Lounge for a very special, candle-lit seance edition of the Moral Panic Variety Hour. We will explore the murky afterlife of our electronic gadgets through story and song, and then ritualistically bid them adieu, offering them our gratitude by acknowledging the power they hold over us, and thus freeing ourselves of their nightmare hold over our dreams, drawers, and bedside tables.

GUESTS ARE INVITED TO BRING UP TO FOUR (4) PIECES OF UNWANTED ELECTRONIC GEAR, TO BE RECYCLED AT THE END OF THE NIGHT. NO TELEVISIONS, PLEASE!!!

PLEASE WEAR BLACK OR SOMBER ATTIRE FOR THE CABALISTIC PURGE OF OUR PRIVATE INFORMATION AND DREAMS FROM OUR FORMER DEVICES.

ATTENDANCE WILL BE CAPPED AT 40, PLEASE BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE
