Shibori Dyeing Workshop

Saturday, Aug. 17, 10:30am-1pm

Shibori is a Japanese resist-dyeing technique that involves twisting cloth and binding it to create a vast array of patterns on fabric. All materials will be provided, but you may also bring something from home to dye as well. Things may get a little messy so wear clothes that you don’t mind getting splashed on or bring an apron or smock.

Taught by local author, educator, artist and designer Diana Rupp.

Suitable for older teens to adults, class size is very limited. Please RSVP to 518-851-7120 or email: info@claveracklibrary.org
