Kinderhook Memorial Library presents “Behind the Scenes: An Intimate View into the Studios of Local Artists”

Tour hours are May 4 from 1-5 pm and May 5 from 11 am-3 pm. 
The cocktail party is May 4 from 5:30-8 pm.

Kinderhook Memorial Library celebrates area artists with a tour of their studios on May 4 and 5, 2024, “Behind the Scenes: An Intimate View into the Studios of Local Artists”.

Proceeds from this event will directly support our youth programs and events, including our new in-person tutoring program that will be launched later this year.

This tour will provide a glimpse of artists, their works, and what has informed and influenced their particular artistic expression. This diverse studio tour includes painting, pottery, textiles, children’s illustrations, and photography. The event will be self-guided and a map to the studios will be provided. Artwork by the artists will be available for purchase.

Artists from Kinderhook, Stuyvesant, and Valatie represented in this Artists’ Studios Tour weekend include Phil Bickerton, Frank Curran, Margot Curran, Ramiro Davaro, Timothy Ebneth, Bruce Edelstein, Nicholas Haylett, Gillie Holme, Karen Hummel, Scott Kilgour, Sandra Koponen, Susanne Lamb, Grace Lang, Taylor Morgan, Tracey Campbell Pearson, Randall Schmit.

Standard tour tickets are $30.00 for the two-day tour event. A special-event ticket for $125.00 includes the tour and a Saturday evening cocktail party with the artists and other tour attendees at Keene Farm (indoor venue) in Stuyvesant.
