CREATE: offsite, a new service to CREATE Artist Members, features recent work by Alon Koppel on display at New York Restaurant, 353 Main Street, Catskill. His photography will be on display through April 25, 2020.
Israeli photographer Alon Koppel has been photographing for most of his adult life and currently resides in Catskill, after moving to the United States in 1998. Alon served as the Guest Curator for the Council’s 2019 Photography Exhibit ‘No Nudes, No Sunsets’ and as part of the Gallery program participated as a panelist in “The Age of Instagram’ at the Council’s Catskill Gallery. In 2018. his photographs were included in “Resident Alien,’ an exhibit featuring the work of artists born outside of the United States who became US residents.
“I am a long-time, passionate photographer, artist and graphic designer. In my commercial photography I strive to create a cohesive image, with the utmost respect for the subject that I am working with.
