Civil War Music and Mrs. Lincoln

The Greene County Historical Society is pleased to welcome The Veterans in a New Field Civil War Band along with Mary Todd Lincoln portrayed by Judee Synakowski.

The Veterans in a New Field band have been performing Civil War songs since 2010 at a variety of venues including historic sites, schools, churches and museums throughout the Hudson Valley. They specialize in songs of the Union Irish Brigade, performed on traditional instruments.

Mary Todd Lincoln will be portrayed by GCHS Trustee and Education Committee Chair, Judee Synakowski. Judee has been portraying Mary Todd Lincoln for 15 years at Civil War reenactments in various locations such as Gettysburg, Massena, NY and local historical societies and other organizations.

The program will begin at 2pm and be held in the Meadow Ridge Heritage Barn located on the grounds of the Bronck Museum.

Suggested donation for this program is $10.
