Book Folding with Christine Doolan
Thursday, July 11, 1-2:30pm
Join Christine Doolan for an afternoon of book folding – a hobby that creates a novel work of art that you can display on a shelf alongside your favorite books! Book folding is a relaxing activity that upcycles old books (saving them from the landfill!) where you use a pattern to create a design by folding the book’s pages. No cutting of the book is done, just page folding, so the book stays intact. All supplies will be provided. For this page-turning workshop, different designs will be available to choose from. The workshop lasts ___ hour(s). The project takes more time than that, but you will leave confident that you can finish this simple project at your own pace. You will leave with a hardcover book and one design. The design is reusable!
This program is open to ages 13 & older (or 10 & up with parent or guardian)
