The inaugural exhibition, “Out of Many, One,” unveils the profound artistic vision of Myron Polenberg at Gallery 495. With a career spanning over 50 years, Polenberg’s work has entered a new phase of exploration. Polenberg’s most recent body of work invites both a visual and experiential contemplation on the themes which have been central to his artistic practice. Concepts related to process, abashed revelation, and destruction. 

Early in his creative career Polenberg worked in advertising and design. His direct communication for the consumer market, has given way in his most recent years to a purist sensibility. Meditative at its core, Polenberg’s work provokes our understanding of permanence.  

We invite you to be a part of this momentous occasion and celebrate the launch of Gallery 495, as well as the presentation of Myron’s work in the company of friends and neighbors.
