“Nine small boxes were decorated as Tiny Art Galleries and placed in various locations in Palenville. The galleries were filled with original art and printed art cards from local artists (adult, student and preschool). Twenty-eight artists participated and 8 of those were students. Over 1200 art pieces were distributed over the 17 days of the event. Palenville’s reputation as an early Artist Colony was underscored by promoting the community history. The public enjoyed walking the gallery route and discovering new art pieces through the duration of the event.”
