Schoharie Library – Betty Fikes Pillsbury

The Schoharie Library’s grant funded instructional workshops such as “Connecting the Threads” an online class on beaded floral motif with Betty Fikes Pillsbury. Students were taught how to create an embroidered flower motif with crystal beads, which could be used on its own or as part of a larger project. Participants learned several embroidery stitches, as well as the technique of embellishing their work with beads in this real-time, interactive class on Zoom.
